| This work deliberately pines for the optimism and simplicity of the 50's. The attendant is lost in his desert reverie, and is beginning to float, perhaps without even being aware of it. On a deeper level, it suggests that enlightenment and peace is not restricted to monks and gurus but exists in the everyday world, even petrol stations. Thanks to author Roff Smith for posing for this one. Floating that long in one place can be quite difficult. |
