CONTEMPORARY FIGURATIVE PAINTINGS by
RICHARD BAXTER

I wanted Anton to be both masculine and feminine at the same time.
To be rough like unshaved skin and hairy legs, yet soft as furs and lipstick.
To have wings that may be real or not, yet to look too heavy to fly.
Although he is large himself, Anton's world is full of small things, including his moth.
