This painting contains a happy scene from my childhood, and from many people's childhood if they grew up in the 50's or 60's and went camping. Ok, maybe we didn't all camp on a cow. On the side of the cow I have written "somewhere far far away beneath the sea, lies the wreck of a ship". I wanted a statement to take the mind out of the already peaceful painting, and let it drift far away, to another place, unseen and only dreamed of. |
