Bright
I wanted a feeling of early morning freshness after the rain, that golden crisp washed clean air, when the sun is low on the horizon. To achieve this feel, every object had to be sharply defined, enabling the viewer to virtually walk around each one, aware of their own mass in space in relation to others. With the low angle of perspective, what is over the hill remains out of sight, a mystery. The elimination of a visible horizon line created a greater sense of space and freedom: This could be anywhere. Sunlight and empty sky flood the scene and everything glows with vibrating energy and the untold possibilities of a new morning.
